This article is written to provide clarity on the application and its Features & Benefits. This article contains the features that are supported, anything outside this article may be within development phases of the new product as we are constantly making changes to the other features like import, export and product editor.

Useable Wix Apps

Our integration only works with Wix Stores, it does not integrate with Wix Restaurants or other Wix Apps. Please ensure you are using Wix Stores for the integration to work correctly. For differences, please see below Wix Article.

Source Of Truth

Epos Now is the source of truth for the application. This means the Price and Stock updates are from Epos Now and not Wix. Read more on the source of truth here.

Product Integration

Products must be in both Epos Now and in Wix. The app will not automatically add products in either direction. Once the products are in both Epos now and Wix there is multiple ways to link these together.

  1. Manual Linking. Head on to the Infuze Group application dashboard and click on the product. Then click link in the lower Right hand side of the product viewer. A lightbox will appear where you can select the Wix product that is related to that Epos Product.

  2. Bulk Linking. Head on to the Infuze Group application dashboard and click on the checkbox next to each product you want to link. Pres bulk adjust in the Top right hand side. Then press Autofind in the select all dropdown.

  3. Auto Linking. If Wix and epos Now products have the same barcode then press the Link Products in the Top Right hand side. This will place the products in a Link queue to be connected. The link queue can take up to 24 hours to complete but is usually completed within 2 hours.

Only singular products can be linked it is not possible to link a single Wix product with multiple epos now products or a single epos now product with multiple Wix products.

Order Integration

Orders placed on Wix will be sent through to the application and then to Epos Now. The orders will be able to be viewed  on the Epos Now primary Till, the Digital Edge Application, as well as the Epos Now Back Office

Stock Integration

Stock is managed From Epos now as the source of truth. This means there is a few ways that stock is automatically adjusted and also manually adjusted. Below are a few ways that stock can be edited in Both Epos Now and Wix and how that affects the integration.

1. Epos Now Till Transaction

When an order or transaction is completed through the Epos Now till the stock on Epos Is automatically adjusted to lower the quantity of the order. Our Application will then receive a webhook, we will then check that product and see if its linked to Wix. If the product is linked to a Wix Product we will adjust the Wix Stock accordingly. This webhook is usually instant but can be delayed up to 15 minutes.

2. Epos Now Stock Adjustment

When you adjust the quantity of a product on Epos Now manually our Application will then receive a webhook. We will then check that product and see if its linked to Wix. If the product is linked to a Wix Product we will adjust the Wix Stock accordingly. This webhook is usually instant but can be delayed up to 15 minutes.

3. Wix Manual Stock Adjustment

When you adjust stock levels in Wix, We WILL NOT take that into account, the stock level will be adjusted in Wix only and WILL NOT change the stock levels in EPOS Now. this means next time a stock update occurs that product will be adjusted in Wix to whatever the latest known Stock Quantity in Epos Now is. For More information, read our Source of Truth Article.

4. Wix Order / Transaction

When a order is received on Wix we will receive a transaction Webhook from Wix. We will then check through that transaction and send the order as an epos recognised API call. This will therefore adjust stock levels of Epos Now accordingly to what was sold in the order. This webhook is usually instant but can be delayed up to 15 minutes.

5.Manual Stock Sync through the APP

When on the Application Dashboard there is a Button in the Top Right Hand side that says "Sync Stock". Pressing this button will place all Linked Products into a Stock Check Audit Queue. This means we will loop through each item of the Queue and audit the Epos Now stock and Adjust Wix Accordingly if it is different. The queue is not instant and can take up to 24 hours to complete but the usual completion time is within 2 hours.

Please Note: The application syncs quantity only, it will not work with product weights.

Price Integration

Price is managed From Epos now as the source of truth. This means there is a few ways that price is automatically adjusted and also manually adjusted. Below are a few ways that price can be edited in Both Epos Now and Wix and how that affects the integration.

1. Epos Now Back Office Price Adjustment on a Single Product (non variant)

When a product in Epos Now price is adjusted we will receive a Webhook From epos now with the new product details and update our server record accordingly. We will then check if the product is Linked to a Wix Product. If the product is linked we will then query Wix to see if the price is different to that of what Epos Now told us it was. If the price is different Wix Will be adjusted to match Epos Now. Please bear in mind the Epos Now price is given to the Wix Base Price only, if the Wix Product has a discount attached the Discount WILL remain in place. Example. Wix product is £100 GBP with a discount of £5 GBP. the displayed price is £95 GBP. If you adjust epos now price to be £95 GBP we will adjust the Wix Product accordingly to £95 GBP. The original £5 discount will remain in force and that product will then be displayed as £90 GBP on Wix with a RRP of £95 GBP.

2. Epos Now Back Office Price Adjustment on a Variant Product

When a product in Epos Now price is adjusted we will receive a Webhook From epos now with the new product details and update our server record accordingly. We will then check if the product is Linked to a Wix Product Variant. If the product is linked we will then query Wix to see if the variant price is different to that of what Epos Now told us it was. If the price is different the Wix Variant Will be adjusted to match Epos Now. Dependent on your application setting will determine how we adjust the main product display price of the linked variant. Please bear in mind the Epos Now price is given to the Wix Variant Base Price only, if the Wix Product has a discount attached the Discount WILL remain in place. Example. Wix product Variant is £100 GBP with a discount of £5 GBP. the displayed price is £95 GBP. If you adjust epos now price to be £95 GBP we will adjust the Wix Product accordingly to £95 GBP. The original £5 discount will remain in force and that product will then be displayed as £90 GBP on Wix with a RRP of £95 GBP.

Please see article on Variant Product Price setting for more information.

The application can handle automatic Wix Order printing on a Epos Now setup thermal printer or through another printer linked to the Primary Till. This takes a bit of setup through Epos now and Each product category must be linked to an order printer and the WOOU must be setup.
