Pricing is not syncing correctly

1. Double check product linking status to ensure it is linked. 

2. Check Wix Discounts as we do not modify the discount on Sync.

3. Check that "Manage inventory and prices per variant" is turned on in Wix.

The most common scenario is the assumption that the price is incorrect because of a Incorrect sync, however, when working within the app the price we provide Wix is the BASE price of tha product only. Therefore if there are any discounts applied to the product we will adjsut the base price but the discount will remain in force. Example;

Individual Product (no variants)

1. Product is set to £110 GBP on Wix

2. The Product has a £5 Discount.

3. You update the Epos Now price to £125 GBP. 

4. The wix Base price will be updated to £125 GBP to match, however, The original discount of £5 will still be applied leaving the sale price of that product at £120. This is a feature to allow web discounts to remain while pricing changes per product.

Variant Product

1. Product is set to £110 GBP on Wix with a Variant called "Large" set at +£3 GBP, meaning the Large is of advertised price of £113 GBP

2. The Product has a £5 Discount meaning the variant is now advertised at £108 GBP and the main product at £105

3. You update the Epos Now price to £115 GBP. 

4. The Wix Base price will NOT change from the orginal £110 GBP

5. The variant adjustment WILL change from +£3 GBP to +£5 GBP setting the Variant Large, base price to be £115 GBP

6. The product still has the original discount of £5 GBP meaning the displayed price of the variant is £115 - £5 GBP = £110 GBP. 

Would you like the discount removed? 

We have retained the discount as customer feedback shows people would prefer to have the option to keep the Web Discount for bulk Web Discounts. However, if you need the setup to remove discounts when updating price please let us know via a new Support Ticket and we are collecting votes to see if its a worthwhile update to make.
